Thanks for your interest in the Pyrotechnic Artists of Texas (PAT)! PAT is a group of pyrotechnic enthusiasts, both amateur and professional. We get together for shoots 3 or 4 times a year and provide a vehicle for communicating news and info regarding fireworks in general. We have safety and informational seminars at these shoots, with info and knowledge that is useful to pass the Texas fireworks licensing tests. Our shoots also provide 1.3G show setup sign-offs that go towards the 5 needed for a Texas FPO license.

We try to have shoots at different locations around the state. Our next event will be October 10-12 in Hondo, Texas. This will be our "Return to 1.3G" shoot and is shaping up to perhaps be the largest event the club has had to date. October 10th will be open shooting where our shell-building members can show off their stuff. The 11th will be the day for seminars, the business meeting and the 1.4G and 1.3G main shows. '76 Pyro Magazine will be there to do a story on PAT, and we are hoping to see a lot of members that have been scarce the past few years. The 12th is the all-important clean-up day, so don't forget that!

The location is about a mile east of downtown Hondo on US Hwy 90 right by the Maize Maze. Location on Google Maps is HERE. If you are traveling west from San Antonio, there will be a 2'x4' white sign on US90 that says "Fireants" with an arrow pointing to the turn to the shoot site.

Hope to see everyone there!
